Support the Church and its Work
The maintenance of our historic church building and the cost of our regular church work is a considerable financial commitment.
Collections are carried out during church services in addition to generous support received from villagers other than the regular church members. We welcome regular donations through our planned giving scheme through a regular (monthly/quarterly/annual) standing order, ideally accompanied by a Gift Aid declaration from UK taxpayers.
If you would like to make a one-off donation, or contribute on line using a credit or debit card, we have a virtual collection plate at Give a Little – you can choose the amount to donate.
If you prefer to support only the maintenance and development of the fabric of the church, we have a fundraising campaign through JustGiving.com . Our current campaign was set up in memory of our priest, Revd Tim Hardingham, sadly killed in a road accident on October 2020. Donations made through that campaign are reserved strictly for maintenance and development of the church building.
The churchyard too needs maintenance – mowing equipment, tree management, keeping the graves and memorials in acceptable and safe condition – and repairing the flint boundary walls, traditionally built without foundations and with a fragile mortar. We welcome one-off and, wherever possible, regular donations to help maintain this peaceful rural churchyard and the memorial garden. Donations can be made through Give a Little .
